The Leica Fotographie International Galleries are now online with a recently updated application for both the iPad and the iPhone. The galleries have a very broad range of excellent photographic contributions by photographers from all over the world. It’s a great place to seek or renew your inspiration, whether you are a colour worker or a monochrome image afficianado. The iPhone and the iPad applications allow you to link directly to the galleries and browse to your heart’s content. You can even download the current issue of the Leica Fotographie International magazine, which looks great on the iPad.
As you might expect, the galleries are a little cramped on the smaller real estate of the iPhone, but the software works very well and it’s easy to use. Well worth a try if you like to keep in touch with what’s happening in Leica photography. The site has many examples from users such diverse cameras as the early range of film bodies right up to the latest, pseudo medium format, S2. Enjoy.
